Therefore, Steenbek Technic thinks about its climate footprint and here are certain points that the company has implemented in its facility.
1. Renewable energy
Solar cells have been installed on the roof which can produce up to 40 kW, where the company’s electricity consumption is covered during the working hours
2. Re-Use
Used machines are purchased, refurbished and reused.
3. Heat recovery/heat saving for customers
Steenbek Technic spends time and resources on obtaining partnerships that can benefit the efficiency of the energy our customers use, thereby significantly improving energy consumption in the horticulture industry.
2. Garbage handling
Steenbek Technic is sorting garbage so the recyclable materials can be used again and again.
